Immigration Supervisor

Job Duties
- Supporting day-to-day operations of the legal team and serving as a secondary supervisory contact
- Overseeing caseload distribution among attorneys, paralegals, and legal assistants
- Monitoring workload capacity, deadlines, and case complexity
- Tracking and reporting key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Preparing weekly, monthly, and annual performance reports
- Developing and maintaining training materials and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Conducting onboarding and ongoing training sessions
- Supervising paralegals, legal assistants, interns, and junior attorneys
- Conducting quality control reviews and compliance audits
- Assisting with high-priority or escalated immigration matters
- Ensuring compliance with immigration regulations and internal standards
- Integrating policy updates into firm processes
Requirements
Master’s degree required. Master of Laws (LL.M.) from a U.S. accredited law school AND a foreign law degree.
Minimum 60 months (5 years) of overall legal experience, which may include: Legal employment Self-employment in a legal capacity Accredited experiential learning (e.g., law school clinics, externships, internships)
- Fluency in English and Spanish (both required)
- Proficiency in U.S. immigration procedures (EOIR, USCIS, court systems)
- Legal research, writing, and document review skills
- Experience supervising and training legal staff
- Familiarity with legal case management systems (e.g., Clio, Docketwise, LawLogix)
